1. Mark cake for guideline to follow
  2. Pipe  a shell border around the bottom of the cake
  3. Pipe swags over the shell border following guidelines
  4. Pipe a ruffle over the swag
  5. Pipe a bead border over the ruffle
  6. Use pattern presses to create scrollwork on cake
  7. Apply drop flowers or piped flowers on cake
